How to wear ALAE

For everyday wear, over straight-leg jeans, a fine T-shirt and white trainers: the contrast between the cape and the simple outfit does all the work. Dressier, with cigarette trousers, a roll-neck and pointed ankle boots. As a statement, over a midi jumper dress and over-the-knee boots, for an enveloping silhouette from head to toe.

Care

Professional dry cleaning only. No water, no machine washing, no tumble drying. Hang the cape on a wide hanger between wears and brush the wool gently to revive the fibre.

Size guide

ALAE comes in one size. The cape cut is deliberately roomy and comfortably fits sizes S to L, with a slightly less oversized effect beyond that. Our model is 177 cm tall and usually wears a size S.

Does the one size suit all body shapes? The cape construction is very roomy: it fits sizes S to L and remains wearable in XL, with a drape that sits a little closer to the body.

Are 3/4 sleeves enough in winter? Layer a fine-knit long-sleeved jumper underneath: the volume of the cape lets you slip it on with ease.
