At Escandelle, we try to meet the expectations of our customers while taking into account the environmental impact of our actions. The game is not won, but we are doing our best at our level!
In order to achieve this objective, we are producing more and more products made from recycled materials labeled by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) label guarantees recycled textiles that respect environmental and social criteria.
It is not simply a symbolic recognition, but a guarantee of concrete commitment to the environment. Companies that obtain this certification commit to meeting strict standards in various areas, such as:
- Reducing the harmful impact of production on people and the environment
- Products treated sustainably
- High percentages of recycled content in products
- Responsible production
- Recycled materials
- Traceability
- Transparent Communication
- And Stakeholder Engagement
And since 2024
Escandelle Paris is no longer only certified by the GRS but now has OEKO-TEX certification for some of our AH24 pieces.
This now allows us to state that:
- The certified article is harmless to your health
- Every wire, button and accessory has been tested against a list of over 1,000 harmful substances
- The more intensive the skin contact, the stricter the human ecology requirements and laboratory tests.
- The label uses globally standardized testing criteria
- The certification complies with international requirements and regulations
- The label reviews its limit values for harmful substances at least once a year
